Whitsun 2026 (Monday, 25th May)
Whitsun dancing schedule and other useful information
Morris dancing has been part of Bampton's Whitsun (now Spring Bank Holiday) festivities for centuries. Here is the information you need to join us in this ancient tradition. Dancing begins early with each side starting off at their home pub and carries on until late afternoon when there is a break for tea (and perhaps a bit more). Dancing resumes around 6:00 pm with the invited sides taking over the show at various locations around the centre of town.
This year we are operating a slightly reduced schedule and we will not be entertaining guest sides in the evening, but we hope you will stay around for the fine guest sides of our fellow sides in town.
