Whitsun 2025 has passed and we had a great day with reasonably good weather and appreciative crowds. We would like to thank our garden hosts for their hospitality and warm welcomes and we also want to thank our guest side Stroud Morris Dancers for joining us in the evening and providing a splendid display of their unique Morris Dancing. We will leave this page up until Whitsuntide 2026 draws near for those who want to see what a typical day looks like.

Morris dancing has been part of Bampton's Whitsun (now Spring Bank Holiday) festivities for centuries. Here is the information you need to join us in this ancient tradition. Dancing begins early with each side starting off at their home pub and carries on until late afternoon when there is a break for tea (and perhaps a bit more). Dancing resumes around 6:00 pm with the invited sides taking over the show at various locations around the centre of town.
